What makes Kazrog one of the biggest no-brainer choices in all of audio?

I took a gamble on True Dynamics. I have a raft of compressor plugins and honestly didn't need the True Dynamics compressor plugins. But I've been shuffling plugins recently and have been getting rid of various subscriptions from companies like Waves and Slate. I have various plugins that I own outright, but i didn't have a full tally of just what I would lose when those subscriptions stopped. I wanted to make sure I had something reliable to replace whatever compressors I lose when those subscriptions stop.

This is about the time when I first heard of the True Dynamics. I've only just started tinkering with them, but I've been impressed. There's a musicality to these plugins that is missing from most of the compressors I've been using. Even when you use them to squash a sound HARD it still sounds very musical, so you get the thickening of the dynamics that you're going for, but not in a way that sounds digitally crushed. I've certainly used emulations of other famous compressors and I've been quite happy with them. But the True Dynamics is somehow more open and rich. I could go on and on, but simply put True Dynamics just seems more musical than the other compressors I've used (I can't say that enough). I have no doubt that when my subscriptions with Waves and Slate (and others) expire, I'm in very good hands with True Dynamics. No worries here.

The control and flavor that I get from these jewels is simply phenomenal; it's really worth it.

It sounds good, but drives up CPU use very high, and doubles or even triples rendering times. Contacted support and they reported it is a known issue with Ableton and they are working on a fix. They recommended using the VST1 version, at a lower sampling, which helps a little but still drives up CPU use and causes glitching. Hope the patch is released soon
