Swedish Medical Center

Task: Implement a layout designed at 300 DPI by a print designer as a dynamic ColdFusion + SQL driven website.

Swedish Medical Center is the Pacific Northwest’s largest (and first) cancer center.

Due to their strict branding requirements, Swedish went with their long-time print collateral designer to design their website. While beautifully rendered in dozens of 300 DPI mockups, the design presented numerous challenges in terms of web-friendliness, which had to be mitigated at both the technological and human level during my time on the MedSeek design/development team.

I worked directly with the client, managing expectations and pushing technical boundaries to arrive at a solution that is still in place, years after I last touched it.
