GoToAssist
Task: Make a subtle yet effective targeted design refocus to improve conversions and search engine ranking.
GoToAssist is Citrix Online’s remote support offering, existing in an increasingly competetive ecosystem of similar solutions. Once the only game in town, GoToAssist faced mounting challenges competing with newer, more disruptive solutions.
Hand in hand with the release of a new version of the software, the design refocus targets both vertical and horizontal markets, with a more direct, customer focused, goal-oriented approach. Relevant keyword density of website content was revamped, and as a result the site ascended dramatically in search engine rankings.
As part of the Citrix Online UI Design team, I produced homepage design elements and reviewed navigation structure as well as keyword selection. I had to observe strict branding rules, as well as antiquated CMS template structures, some of which I belive hinder the site’s potential. Nevertheless, this was a successful design refocus, and Citrix Online was very happy with the results.
